Said by Janeane Garofalo's (sp?) character in Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion: A neurotic, chain-smoking ex-high school freak turned millionaire (Janeane) tries on a dress in Romy (Mira Sorvino) and Michelle's (Lisa Kudrow) co-owned chic, upscale women's fashion boutique.

"This dress exacerbates the genetic betrayal that is my legacy."

Babe, you know I love you. Right? So I'm really really hoping you aren't IDENTIFYING with the Janeane Garafolo comment... right?

Other than that, yeah, I thought it was a bright point in an otherwise torpid movie. But then, I loves me some Garofalo.

It's better than saying the typical "Oh God, this dress makes my thighs look fat" or "My butt looks HUGE in this thing!"

Janeane just rules in general. But I don't think "Romy and Michele" was ever intended to be a *good* movie, mind you.

I thought this was a funny, yet serious quote in a movie that is jam packed up stupidity. Romy and Michelle are my heroes.
